Nissan ds150e and iso 9141-2 compatible ?
Hi everone,
I have a ds150-e 2 boards from China ! Fail it cannot connect to my Murano 2006 ! I tested with an other car, citroen c5 2007 and the same ! unable to init ! both of them use the iso 9141-2 protocol ! when I use the scan with a new car using iso 15765 it work ! what can I do ? does someone have any idea of a solution to repair the scan of bypass init or ... to diag my MO ?
I can think of buying a new scan or a new car Hammer but it's the last option.
OUps, I forgot, I changed the 701 and 703 diodes, nothing changed.
Thanks for your help,
Ric.

It should be able to read them. The 2 board version is not as good as the single board version and there are many poor quality ones out there. Xcar360 sells a good one.

Hi.

To rule out a software fault I would try a fresh installation on a fresh XP Sp3 setup.

You should also try Wurth WoW and OPUS CMD software which also use the same hardware. If nothing works I would suspect the hardware. Mine came from Stephen @ xcar360. It was his HQ version and works perfectly. But it cost far more than the cheapest ones.

Still searching !
I didn't found any info about this TBD protocol.
But with pin-out seems to use Iso 9142-2 first and then Can protocol. A Russian site say that my MO se 14230 protocol ...
What is the real protocol used ? I don't know.
How to know the protocol(s) for my Nissan Murano 2006 ?
I think that as a first step I have to know what protocol to use, then force the software to use it even if I have to disconnect pins from scan to make it.
Can someone tell me how to know what protocol(s) my car need to talk with this DS150e clone ?

Thanks

Richard.
Hi,
Can you post photos of Two PCB (top and bottom) of your DELPHI DS150 E !

I seems that it's an hardware problem, check welds and reference of components.

Hi.
I am sure that you have a hardware issue. The photos you posted are no good. You must separate the 2 pcb's and take high quality photos of each side of both boards if anyone is to help you with this. A flatbed scanner can also be used for this.

RE: ds150e and iso 9141-2 compatible ?
Hi, I'm back with some new news.
I tried to scan my Mo 2006 with a kiwi plx scan.
It worked !
protocol is ISO 9141 (5 baud initialization) !!!
Can someone tell me how to force Delphi or an other software to use 9141 (5bauds init) to scan with ds150-e ?
