Isuzu Idss with nexiq
Hey People

I am not sure where to ask.

I have the isuzu idss software installed and using a nexiq usb link. The software is working opening but I dont have a way to change adaptor settings in the software. Did I do something wrong with the installation or does my version not support it if I dont get the option to change adaptor to the nexiq.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Zippo

RE: Isuzu Idss with nexiq
I am having the same issue. Windows 7 64 bit. Using Nexiq 2 bluetooth with IDSS V 4.4.19. I can test my connection to the truck and the nexiq communicates. But when i try to connect with IDSS it says " Internal device and/or DLC connection problem. Please check and try again" i have uninstalled twice. Followed the directions as written, changed the reg files and renamed the file for nexiq in Syswow64. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

RE: Isuzu Idss with nexiq
Hey

I found this that might help but have not yet tested it. Hope it will work on IDSS 2017

Might be worth a shot

1. search "REGEDIT"
2.click on "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE"
3.click on "SOFTWARE"
4.click on "GMICT"
5.click on "IDSS"
6.double click "DEVICE TYPE" and change to USB LINK 2 and close regedit
7.Go to C:/windows/system32 and find the driver name"NULN2R32.DLL" copy dll file to desktop
8.rename "NULN2R32.DLL
to "NXULNK32.DLL"
9.Copy the NEW renamed "NXULNK32.DLL" file to "C:/windows/system32"
10.Restart IDSS

To go back to "USB-LINK 1"

you will need to rename .DLL driver back to "NULN2R32.DLL" and re-copy it to "C:/windows/system32"

hope it works cant test currently
