These interfaces are not valid with this software, it is designed exclusively for the VCI v1 or v2 multidiag, no other interface can be used with this software.

That depends on several factors. On first is an original VCI v1 or v2?

If it is a V1 and your serial allows it, you can install up to a certain version and download its activation components from the Actia website.
If your serial is old and obsolete and you know who can reflash your VCI1, you can install it until the latest version of 2018 that does not need a serial because your VCI activates it directly.

If it is a V2 it is complicated since you will need to replace the integrated one that contains the activation data since getting the necessary files and flashing them is complicated in that model.

Thank you for answering, I have no idea what type it is, it came with multidiag from 2008 so I suppose it will be an old version. How can I know what vci I have? by the serial?

If its yellow and blue (from 2008 surely) its an VCI1 , and can be reflashed without much dificult procedure , you need the files (if you need I send to you) and a PIC programmer , if the programmer has an onboard adapter to avoid unsolder the PIC from the circuit better , a little pacience and all must be fine.

If you dont have experience with, better search for an technician who do it for you , and in this case I recommend change the PIC for a new one, program the new with the data and reserve as backup the original one , its a cheap component (around 3€ online).
